"I think we should put some Kudzu on mars and see how long it would take to cover the whole planet." - Someone calling themselves Dobi, commenting on an opinion piece by Buzz Aldrin on going to Mars. I lol'd.

I finally got around to taking pictures of Saresha, my BuddyDoll Elisha. It's only been what, a year? Derp. For anyone reading this who didn't ( Read more... )

BuddyDolls aren't very popular, I think I found like one owner pic of an Elisha before I just said screw it, stopped eyeing her, and bought her. Ironically BuddyDoll has like the most accurate company photos ever, since when she got here she looked exactly like the website photos, just bald and naked, rofl.

BuddyDoll's problem I think is that it has the quirky sculpts and sometimes iffy body design of a Chinese company, but they're Korean with the resulting higher price point. Their first two versions of their girl body and the early headsculpts, including Elisha, have for example a... 7.2 I think centimeter neck, which is more an MSD-sized neck than SD. Saresha looks really, really awkward from some angles because of it, rofl. It doesn't bother me, though, and even though her body is from before they started doing double jointing(darn) it doesn't bother me much. (Hell, you can't see it under the Fer anyway, rofl, and I don't really take dolls anywhere anymore so it isn't much of an issue.)

Hard to clothe, too, she has a tiiiiiiiiny waist that makes CP girls look fat, rofl. Pants and skirts are gonna fall off or look silly. Good thing the Fer is the only thing short of a custom outfit she'll ever need, heh.
