Rest in Peace Nelson
A tear is a tear,
But, not like the one I dropped,
On December 26,
I was put in a shock,
You flew out the car window,
On the passenger side
Cause that night you and your friends decided to drink and drive.
When I heard the news,
Memories rushed though my head, Remembering how short you were and how crazy in the head.
We weren’t ready to let go, but everyone’s time flies and that night of the club was your time to die.
We lost a good friend but, we all know you’re starting the party up high.
We still don’t understand why, we wish you were still here, but now it’s too late. I will never forget all the memories and now all the pain, but I know your up in heaven watching over our heads.
Do you like the t-shirts we mad and the candles we held all night we tried to make it extra special, but you never wanted to see us cry.
We tried to keep the tears in, but I was too hard to say.
Our last good-byes, I wish you could peak out from a cloud and say hi, but I know that wish won’t come true.
So we will wait for the day, God chooses me too.
And I’ll help you decorate the party for the rest of the crew.
