- Next time I start whining about the Rams or someone else not being able to hang on to the football, someone shut me up, okay?
- It's very likely that I just got suckered, but so be it. It's on their heads. Probably the best thing I've done all day, really.
- Dillard's is leaving NW Plaza now (and the newsstand place closed at some point). So they're basically down to Sears, Macy's (yuck), LensCrafters, the jewelry repair place, Popcorn Palace (is that still there? I didn't look), and Mimi's Beauty & Hair Salon as their cornerstones. Seriously. After that come Things Remembered, Vitamin World, a few jewelry hangers-on, and sundry inane clothing/hat/shoe stores. Imagine being a Yankees fan in 1927 and over the next few years watching in disgust as upper management ineptly overcharged fans and underpaid players and allowed the team to slide to the point where a decent college team could whip them. That's about how bad this is.
