Turkuuuu

Äh. Whatever I say about the moving to Turku or staying in Helsinki thing, don't believe me, because I may change my mind the day after. -.- Right now, after having just visited Turku and having had a terrific time there, I am of the opinion that goddamnit, I'm going! I'll get an apartment by myself and there's no way it could be any worse than living alone here. Except for the fact that I won't have a job, but I'll get one. So there. I even immediately found an aparment available right next to the big church, called the renting dudes today and asked if one can have cats there. The dude didn't know, but he'll find out and get back to me later today. I hope he remembers to do that. Now, pray they allow pets! Waah! The place would be as big as the one I live in now and it would be cheaper. I wants it.

Weekend (Friday-Saturday) in Turku included daevacacia's going-away party, she'll go to the US for 3 months. We celebrated it in the Bremer pub and much fun was had. I think I might have made a bit of a fool of myself by being more hyper than normal, but then again, who cares. I was in a nice mood towards everyone and that was very good. One thing that keeps irritating me, though... I bought a litre of white wine in a can with Sanna, poured glasses for us two and Jutta, and then put the can and my own glass on a table next to me and very slightly behind me. I hadn't even drank the whole glass when I suddenly noticed that both my glass and the whole can were gone! Someone, a customer or a waitress, I don't know, had taken them away and we'd drank maybe half of it. Meh. I'm going to get over it one of these days, but not just yet.

On Saturday we made macaroni casserole with Jutta and Anna, Harry's sister, and we baked huge cookies. They were all yummy. Watched random TV shows and were lazy until it was time for me to get a train. It was 9 pm when the train left back to Helsinki and half the people in the compartment seemed to be drunk. It was a bit freaky, but luckily no one bothered me and I got back fine.

The ticket selling for this year's Love & Anarchy film festival starts on Tuesday. I should try to make a schedule for the movies this evening. Probably can't get it finished, but there's also tomorrow. I can read movie descriptions at work if I'm not too busy.
