Meteors and wine bottles
There's supposed to be a meteor shower in the sky this evening at 22:50 our time! Let's hope the sky is clear so we'll see it well. Must remember to go watch it, arflings.
Our team had a training thingy yesterday after work. A woman came to tell us how to best use our voice since it's the tool we use a lot every day. She gave us some funny examples about how people talk in the wrong way - some people's voices creak ("asiantuntijanarina"), some talk way too high or low or loud or have pauses in weird places and so on and so forth. I sat next to this one funny male co-worker who kept tugging my sleeve and pointing out which of our team members speak the same way as in the examples. Mostly he kept repeating the name of one female person. X)
Just before the training wine bottles were given to people who had done well at work. Five or six of our team were rewarded and I was one of them! Yay! I think I have earned it too. Now I am a happy owner of a red wine bottle and I took it along, just in case we happen to feel like drinking red wine during or after our vampire game on Saturday. :P
Anyway. We got to drink cider and beer during the training and afterwards there was food (different salads and meatballs) and more cider and beer and wine. It was lovely. I got just drunk enough to be very happy and giggly. A very good evening, all in all.
Other highlights of the week: on Monday a customer called me wonderful. He also said he feels shy towards our onsite people (they go to see the customer and fix the problem there) because last time they visited nothing worked for a while after they left. What a cute way to say that they screwed up. :))
