I had to change my journal layout to one of those new pink things. It doesn't reflect my mood at all, but it's too cute for me not to use it! And somehow... comforting? A bit.
A friend of mine is going to Japan for a year as an exchange student. He's not leaving until the middle of September, but he held a I'm-going-away party already because he's moving out of his apartment... today, I think. He made quite a strong punch (booli?) for us and had chips and dip and cookies. People brought their own drinks too and suddenly there was all kind of alcohol in the apartment: cider, beer, port wine, whiskey, rum, vodka, grappa and absinthe. Did I forget something? But even with all these drinks no one got so drunk they wouldn't have known what they were doing. I tried to be careful after the previous week's experience and I was mostly only pleasantly tipsy the whole time. Had lots of fun. Harry discussed army stuff with Simo and they seemed to enjoy themselves. His was the only phone number poor Harry got during the whole evening. :D
On Sunday I shopped with mum and spent too much money. But I found a lovely, velvety skirt! And an okay green shirt. When I got home I did some cleaning and watched Two for the Money with Simo and Eath. It was sort of interesting, but too long. After that we listened to Placebo with Simo and drank tea and chatted, kind of slowly, with many breaks in between. It was really nice.
Workday's slowly coming to an end. Only three days to go and then I'm unemployed, but hopefully not for long.
