Of bed, chips and graduation

It's the 666 day!

I'm hanging out at work. I could leave already, but I have a taiji lesson in a nearby park at 6 pm and it's quite nice here. Co-workers have mostly left already and I'm drinking tea, eating biscuits and gaining extra minutes of work time so I can leave earlier than normal next Friday. Life could be worse.

I forgot to mention something very essential in my last entry: mum wants to buy me a new bed (mattress with legs, "runkopatja" in Finnish) as a graduation gift! This totally rocks. I'd been planning on getting a new one at some point in the future, but now I don't have to. It's going to be 120 cm wide. Niiice. Apparently I've used the bed I have now ever since I was a baby. :P

So. I was in Linnanmäki (an amusement park) yesterday and Simo told me to play a game for him where one can win chips, from one bag to a humongous bag that contains many normal-sized ones. So I played and won the biggest prize: 5 kg of chips! Unbelievable. :D Simo got most of them since he payed for it (all of 1 euro) and I don't really want to eat that much chips by myself. I took two bags, though, for next weekend.

I'll be going to Turku again. There will be hanging out with arflings on Friday and going to a spa with mum on Saturday. Maybe something else. I don't know yet what I'm going to do about Sat evening or Sun morning, but I'm expecting to figure it out on Fri the latest, hopefully.

I'll graduate on Wednesday next week. We've been planning on going to eat somewhere in the evening with friends, but I don't know where we should go. I have many options, but none of them feel perfect. Either the restaurants don't have good food (have to have some vegetarian food besides salads) or then they can't easily host groups of 10+ people. Meh. Have to try to remember to look into this. Time is starting to run out.

satunnaista, outoa
