yo i remember the good old days when spam emails were like "LOSE 45LBS B4 THE WEEKEND!" and "DOUBLE UR PENIS SIZEE OVERNITE!" but i'm checking my AOL mail for the first time in like a month (man, fuck aol) and all the spam ones (which is approximately 345 of the 350 emails i got) are fucking WACKY.
they're like "find out who your neighbors are!" that's CREEPY. first of all, i know who my neighbors are. secondly, if you don't know who your neighbors are and would like to find out GO OUTSIDE AND MEET THEM. it's just completely psychotic and also alarmingly sloth-like to use the INTERNET to find out what's going on 10 FEET TO THE LEFT OF YOUR HOUSE.
i got another one about witchcraft which i don't even know what to say about because it wasn't funny it was just stupid aaaaaaand i got one that was like "HAY WANNA BE AN FBI AGENT?" like, maybe i do, but i have this nagging feeling that the federal bureau of investigation is not so hard up for applicants that they're emailing my 60-college-credit-having ass to bust up drug smugglers and child pornography rings.

EDIT: SIIIIIIIIIIIIKE. IF I HAD READ MY EMAIL WITH ANY SORT OF REGULARITY I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE SONIC YOUTH SHOW BEFORE IT SOLD OUT. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK THAT.
