There was an email circulating in the 90s about a woman who enjoyed a rather scrumptious chocolate chip cookie at Neiman Marcus (an upscale department store). Falling in love with the cookie, she asked for the recipe. The waitress informed her that they could not give her the recipe, but that she could buy it for "two-fifty". The woman asked for it to be added to her tab, and she left with the recipe. When she got her bill, she discovered a $250 charge for the recipe. Outraged, she asked for her money back. The store outright refused as she had "already seen the recipe", and so, to get revenge, the woman decided to forward their recipe to everyone she knew. An urban legend was born!
The story is, of course, completely false. The funny part is: Neiman Marcus didn't even sell chocolate chip cookies at the time! (They do now!)
Anyway: it is a very good recipe for a very good cookie ( ... )

In the meantime, here are coconut ones I made a few days ago. I don't have conversions to grams or anything. But you can always google conversions, so it's all good. I think the original recipe is from about.com, but it tweaked it a bit.
