It would appear you're relocating to London (which is where I live) right about the time I'll be leaving to spend two and a half months in the US visiting family. However, it will be awesome to know another LJ person will be around when I return \m/
I actually really like Kanye West (I listen to a lot of hip-hop/rap anyway). I think he gets a lot of flak for his attitude, but then, I've met members of random indie bands who are pretty much total jerks for no particular reason other than the fact that they are in a band. Musically, Kanye knows his stuff. And I have to give him credit for at least being honest about the fact that he's not always, er, Mr. Nice Guy.
The Arctic Monkeys are making their way up my favorite bands list, particularly with "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I Moved Your Chair". I am loving it.
Alanis has some of the best lyrics...or at least some that I can relate to the most. I remember buying 'Jagged Little Pill" on tape and wearing it out, before I had to buy the CD.
