This month just goes from annoying, to bad, to worse, to horrible. Between that entire fiasco with Vayne, then Bahamut, then thinking that some of my companions might be dead for a bit, to being on an airship with Vaan at the controls, then having him disappear as well. I've spent some time with her. She's pretty helpful, and skilled at taking down the monsters here.

I bet she is! Fran's good at...well...just about everything, it seems. I hope I can be more like her some day...

I'm kind of jealous. With practice and training, I'm sure you will.

Yea, so am I. I hope so! I have a long way to go but I've been getting a lot of practice in the past year or so, and well, since I'm here now I'm sure I'll be getting a lot more.

Mmm, if you don't mind my asking Nadie, I've heard that a lot of people here are from different worlds. What was yours like?

There's not much to say about my hometown, and I don't stay in one place for too long.

Still, it's pretty... varied? Different landscapes, and towns of all sizes.

I've seen, mountains, desert villages, open plains, forests... Haven't seen snow yet, but it's on my list.
