I bought myself a 120GB external HD two weeks ago and have been catching up on some series I previously didn't have the room to follow along with. :D Ah~ so nice, not constantly hovering around 1-2 GB of free space~ Although some old stuff have been removed from bots so I have to resort to BT. *hate*

I read the first chapter of Gantz the ohter day, but decided not to read on because the protagonist was the most annoying guy I have ever seen, even for protagonists of seinen manga. Does he perhaps, you know, die sometime in the course of the series? Preferably a horrible and disfiguring death?

Unfortunately, he seems to be have an immunity card against death, although I wouldn't be TOO shocked if they did kill him temporarily sometime in the future to mess with the readers' mind.

He *does* get less annoying (to me, anyway) several volumes into it, most notably after he gets a gf, who's this plain-looking but sweet otaku girl. Go read it~ *pokes at you* We can complain about how much we hate the different characters together.
