Day 1367: Nine weeks and counting

Yes, I will in fact be relying on each week, because it saves me having to think up titles that seem clever but end up being unrelated to the blog post in general, because I am awful at titles. As evidenced by the fact that I've reused titles for fics on AO3 by accident.

The Good:

Baby Seedling continues to do well, and by do well I mean make me endlessly nauseous, but everyone assures me that's a good thing, so even if I binge on cheetos and hate meat, we're all good!

Dance class went well. I pretty much know the dances inside out. I just have to settle on a costume and do some final polishing, like where my hands go and making sure I'm not rocking homicidal resting face during the performance. We had dinner with my aunt and uncle on Friday night, which was absolutely lovely. Super good time. Delicious food. Lots of laughter. Discovering what a badass woman my aunt is was fun (she did IT for not one but three presidents back in the motherland). Also the weird things we have in common (falling asleep on public transport but waking up when it's our stop). My aunt and uncle are super cool people. And I got some childhood treats, like moon cake, polvoron, and buko pie.

We got all the oil in all three vehicles changed. We made a pretty good team, and for that I am pleased.

The Bad:

I was accused of being part of a criminal conspiracy. (Though that was actually kinda funny.) Had some cases go pretty sideways. There were tears. Also I was in court all day for an extra day, and the one day I didn't have court I had back-to-back meetings for 7 hours straight. That was no fun. Made for some long days. Thankfully the next couple of weeks are looking to be a bit lighter.

Checkin!

Writing! Better. Thanks to Monster Fest. Going pretty darn well, and for that I am pleased indeed. For reals. Made some serious progress on my RBB, and I'm excited about that.

Spirituality! In some ways way worse than in weeks past, but also in other ways way better, so I'm just going to pick myself up and keep on going.

Fitness! Uhhhhh...what's that? I mean...naps. Naps are where it's at. Naps and dancing one night a week. That's what I've got.

Work! I did study some this week. Hoping it pays off. We shall see.
