Puzzle...?

So, I thought I should be doing my schoolwork. And, after cracking open a description of 'fundamental justice' and what that entails for an individual, replete with tens of pages of judgment by a majority led by one old crank, and hundreds of pages dissent by a highly activist old crank (it's not a slight, it's not a bad thing even, but for some reason all the highly activist ones in on Canada's SCC are female), one's enthusiasm for the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms grows totally muted.

So, I start writing my Nano, and I'm not totally at a point where I think I can post the next segment, though I know *someone* keeps pestering me about the ID of a pianist. Plus, I sort of ran out of inspiration.

Now, I decided to try my hand at puzzle-making, like Scott and Kate. Mine's a lot easier than theirs, though. It's like Kates, only there's a list of 9's and you have to remove a letter from each to get the unique 8. Each letter removal is unique, for all the letters of the alphabet.

So, without further ado, if you want... though it's really worlds easier than other peoples'.

1. ACADEMISM
2. AFFRONTED
3. ANTHOZOIC (thanks to whomever noted that!)
4. AUTOMAKER
5. CATALEXIS
6. EXARCHATE
7. FACECLOTH
8. GHETTOIZE
9. HAMADRYAS
10. HYPERBOLA
11. ICTERICAL
12. INVOLUCEL
13. INVOLUCRA
14. JACKSTONE
15. MINITOWER
16. NAMAYCUSH
17. PAROCHIAL
18. QUEBRACHO
19. RHOMBICAL
20. RIJSTAFEL
21. SCINTILLA
22. SQUINTING
23. SYMPHONIC
24. VIBRACULA
25. VIDEODISC
26. WHIMSICAL

This helped me learn some neat words, too. Like quite a few of those 9's, OLOLIUQUI (though for some reason, it seems familiar) and WYLIECOAT.
