(no subject)
The moving trip was kind of a disaster, but we all lived and I'm back at work on time (though I didn't make it into the office). Sel rented a 4'x4'x8' trailer (3.6 cubic meters). I walked into her apartment, saw the boxes and went "UHHHHHHHHHHH". We ended up getting a truck with 3x the space and filled it nearly to the brim. The drive from Columbus, IN to Bethlehem, PA took 14 hours total, between rest stops, gas and food breaks. All but 2 hours of that was in the dark. We finally pulled into her mom's place around 6am.
Sunday was spent unpacking the car, hitting up an enormous and really good all you can eat sushi joint. Sushi elitists on my f-list, I know good sushi and am totally skeptical of all you can eat sushi places, but this place was pretty damn good. Do not be skeptical!
One delayed flight and a 5 hour drive later, I made it home and slept. That was around 5am. Back at work at 9 >_<;;;; Argggh!
So yeah, I'm back. A lot went wrong, but it was still a really fun trip, and OMG SUSHI. I swear, Grace and I probably destroyed $90+ each in sushi at Ann Arbor prices. All that for $28/person >:D Winnar is us.
