Well the Imperial Guard have been traded. I am currently awaiting about 3000pts worth of Space Wolves. I am very excited as I am planning on using this army as my traveling tournament army. It is already painted to a higher standard then what I can paint, but not everything is painted. Which means I have to try and match, or I may have to strip everything. Once I have the models on hand I'll be ably to make that call.
Michelle's blood tests came back not so good. It looks like her cholesterol is still high and she gained more weight, which is boggling our and the Dr.'s mind as she has started working out at the Y 2-3 times a week. We are seriously talking about the lap band if it is covered by insurance. Due to several factors the Dr. thinks it will be covered, but until they make the phone calls we won't know. Next check up is in February so we'll know more after she's been on some meds.
The babies are doing a lot of talking. Grace is actually putting 3 word sentences together that we can understand. John is still talking incoherently, but to each other, you would think they were having heated debates. It is quite amazing to see them growing up.
I don't know if I mentioned this last time or not, but we are pulling Tori out of public school and have decided to home school her. The surprising thing is that it was her idea. She is actually doing quite well in school, all A's and B's, but she does not want to be in that environment anymore. The good thing is that the school district we are in actually has a home school program. It's designed for pregnant teen girls, but is open to anyone. She has to wrap up this school year through this program, and then next year we will be able to enroll her in a traditional home school system that is based in Kansas that will allow her to go at her own pace. She is hoping to have her diploma by the end of what would normally be her Junior year.
I have enrolled in my next semester at college. I'm taking 13 credit hours this time around. The odd hour is due to a phys. ed. class I have to take. What a waste of time. I am excited about 1 class though, The Life and Teachings of Jesus. This may be my introduction to actual college level study of scripture.
I have started teaching sunday school at church to the high school boys. So far I have had a very good response from the kids as well as from several parents. I really enjoy teaching and this age group is so ready for serious study.
I hope everyone else had a great turkey day. God Bless.
