So like I totally didn't tell you guys I went on a cruise, did I?

Yeah, me, my mom and brother, in the end of January/start of February, including my mom's birthday on the 1st. We traveled from Rio to Salvador, then back south to Búzios, Santos and then Rio again.
It was a lot of fun, but the two real highlights were the casino and diving.
I played blackjack, ended up not winning any money but not losing either.
In Búzios, we went on a schooner ride and at some points they'd stop so we'd go snorkel diving. It's so beautiful! There were all those coral things and spiney things and schools of fish and, like, wow. I could have gone on for hours doing that. I really want to go scuba diving sometime, but if I ever see a shark or a whale I'm pretty sure I'll faint and die at the bottom of the ocean. I'm fucking TERRIFIED of sea monsters.
So, hm, yeah. Blackjack and diving, these were the two best parts of the cruise, by far. The rest's kinda bland in comparison actually.

Oh, and there was the food.
There was a huge breakfast buffet, first time I had bacon and eggs for breakfast, and for lunch pretty much all I'd eat was french fries and sometimes sausages or a steak. And for dinner there would be chic cruise food, which was always pretty, but not always that great. Sometimes, though, it'd be amazing.

There were shows and parties pools and sun and somewhere around the fifth day I started getting tired of it. Maybe I got sick, I'm not sure, but I spent a lot of time in bed, during the last days. When I came home I was very relieved to be back to my calm, boring life.
