for those of you who were confused about my last post. I was putting in my two weeks at tommy's on monday. Now, the manager on mondays, paul, was in a funk. this could have been for any number of reasons, but he was unusually snarly all night. I talked to him after i got my closing stuff done and he wanted to continue the conversation in the office

ok, just for the record, an employer CAN NOT fire you AFTER you have put in your notice. its just not possible. so thats just bs. what is even MORE bs is that they "fired" you for having too many hours? uh... last i checked, you did not make the schedule, and that in fact it is THEIR fault for giving you "too many hours."

bah. fuck work establishments. we should just start our own and be the fuck done with it.

the way that it works at tommys is they give you the hours but then, those are your hours. I don't care that they fired me because it just means i don't have to deal with their bs for the next two weeks. they usually tell people not to come back if they put their two weeks in.

i'm gonna look into it... i need to update my paperwork for it at some point, but i've got copies laying around on my computer at home. The hardest part of the studio design is logo and name.

i'm full time at my other job, and i'm enjoying it so far... it's a pain some times but that's to be expected... my boss and i have found a pretty good way to work together.
