Fan fic

Jan 02, 2007 02:17

This is a fanfic I started last year. I don't know how is it so I can't recommend anyone read it, but I would like some feedback. Also, I want to have it here so I don't have to be looking around at the 50stories community (don't know how to do a community lj cut) for the stories I have written earlier. If I post them here it will be easier to get them. So here it is.

It's a jrock fanfic. The pairing is Ren (LiNCLOVER, ex Gacktjob) and Yukihiro (Acid Android, L'arc-en-ciel)
Yeah, it is kind of yaoi-ish, but it's light. Right now I'm on the 4th story and nothing has happened yet.
Some people find it funny, I don't really know. Anyway...
Title of the whole thing is "A Random Accident"
Of course I don't own any of the characters here, I don't even know them. Everything here is fictional and I don't make any money out of this. They own themselves and any other jrock artist that appears in the story doesn't have anything to do with it.

Hope you enjoy it

(1st Chapter An Accidental Meeting)

He was tired. They had just come back from China which, by the way, had been a complete success. Still, he was tired. He went to his apartment and lay down on his king size bed. “mmmm…All I need now is company.” He said out loud. He rolled his eyes knowingly. “Feh, there’s no time for company.” He got out of bed and walked into the kitchen directly to his fridge. He opened the door. “No coca-cola. Again, I have to go out.” Sighing with resignation, he went to the shop down the street.

He walked mindlessly looking around, feeling as if it were his first time in Japan. He marveled at the tall towers that surrounded him. He looked like a kid on his first visit to Disney they way he looked at the neon lights, as he passed by them. He became lost in his own neighborhood. Disoriented, he went to the nearest bench and sat down. “What’s wrong with me?” He whispered to himself. He looked again at this place he knew like the palm of his hand, and yet, at the same time, he didn’t. He took out his cell-phone, starting to walk back the way he came. He dialed for Hyde.

“Moshi moshi!” A voice answered on the other end.

“Hai. Haido-chan, it’s Yuki.”

“Don’t tell me you have nothing to do. We just arrived and I want to be with my wife and kid.” He said pretending bad temper.

Yuki chuckled recognizing his friend’s sense of humor. “No, no, no. I have a lot of work…Thing is…You won’t believe this…” He said scratching his head looking at passersby going around in their bicycles.

“Spit it out! What’s wrong?” Hyde’s voice was tinged with concern. He knew that Yukihiro never called for small things.

“I don’t know where I am!” He said simply, laughing at himself.

“What do you mean you don’t know where you are?” He said in disbelief. “Are you playing with me?” Yuki could hear the smile in his friend’s voice.

“I wish I was. Thing is I…” He felt something running over his feet and something hitting him hard on his stomach. He stumbled to keep balance, but then he fell to the floor cell-phone rolling to the side. “Ittai! Kusou! Fuck! Watch where you’re going man!!! Hsssss.” He screamed at no one in particular, sat on the floor and reached for the fallen cell-phone. With the corner of his eyes he saw that a man flew over his bicycle when it went through a culvert. He remembered his cell-phone was in his hand when he heard Hyde’s voice.

“Oi! Yuki-chan! What happened?” Hyde’s voice was now full of worry.

“Nothing.” He grumbled in pain. “I’ll call you later.” He hung up to look at the person who just ran him over. “And I thought cars were the only things that ran over people.” He said complaining as he tried to stand up. The people around him were walking as if nothing had happened. “One can die here and nobody would care, ne?”

“Gomen! Honto ne, gomen nasai! Here. Let me help you.” A man sounding nervous, spoke fast. “I wasn’t looking.”

“Really? I didn’t notice.” Yukihiro voiced full of sarcasm, but accepting the man’s help. “If I can’t move my feet like I normally do, you will pay dearly for it.” He said as he looked up to see the face of the person who almost crippled him.

“If you can stand, one would think your feet are ok.” The man replied annoyed with the attitude Yukihiro had donned. “Anyway, I’m sorry. I was looking for a place, but now I’m lost. Maybe you can help me?”

“What is it today? Is everyone getting lost?” Yuki ranted, amazed that he was not the only one disoriented. He sat on another bench and massaged his feet. “Sorry, can’t help you. I’m lost too.” He said laughing at the irony.

“Well, how am I supposed to get to Gaku-chan’s house? I know he lives nearby.” The man said scratching his head and looking around.

“You know Gackt?” Yuki asked confused.

“Yeah, though that’s not important now.” He said simply without meeting Yuki’s eyes. “By the way, the name’s Ren. We must get you to a hospital now so that a doctor can look at your feet.” He said trying to figure out where he was.

“Thanks. The name’s Yukihiro. I’m sure that if I see my apartment building, I’ll know where I am.”

Ren giggled. “You live here and you are lost? Wait till I tell Ga-chan there is actually someone worse than I in this world.” He laughed hysterically.

“He, he, very funny. I don’t know what happened. I went to buy some coca-cola and bam, suddenly, I don’t know where I am! First time it happens. Normally I know this place like the back of my hand, you know?” He replied tartly as he tried to stand up again. “Ittai, my toes! I work on my feet and I can’t stand them. Get ready to pay for…” He trailed off as he saw his apartment. “Sugoi! I now where I am! That’s where I live.” He spoke to Ren signaling to his abode and looking at it as if it were his salvation. “Take me there.” He finished pitifully.

Ren gave a bemused look at Yukihiro. “Are you alright? You look like you need something to eat.”

“I don’t need to eat. I need to go there. Come on. Help me get there. My feet are killing me thanks to you.” He took Ren by the arm and pulled him over to his apartment.

“I can’t leave my bike here!” He said as he grabbed it with his free hand.

“You should. In your hands that thing is a lethal weapon. I don’t wanna die because of you.”

Ren yanked his arm from Yukihiro’s clutches. “Look mister, I’m sorry for what I did, but I don’t even know you! I don’t have to go anywhere near you or with you! You could be a psycho killer guy who stood in my way on purpose so I would run him over. For all I know, you will kill me in that apartment of yours.” He started for his bike, but then noticed that his front wheel was broken. “Oh crap.”

“What? Having problems?” Yukihiro asked evilly trying to really scare Ren “Look, if you don’t remember, I already told you my name, Yukihiro, and your name is Ren, the runt who ran me over. There. We know each other. I need to go inside and think what to do, and you need to fix your bike. If you want, you can call someone you know and tell that person to come here and keep you company while I go prepare the stove and the big pots and pans so I can cook the both of you.” He said sarcastically. “Come on. What are you waiting for? Hurry up. I have a spare wheel at home. If you want I can lend it to you while you repair yours or get a new one, ne? I need to get out of the street. It has been a weird enough day.” He said signaling towards his building.

Ren pulled his bike with him towards the entrance. “It’s true. I should be helping you. I did run you over.” He said blushing and feeling shame.

“Then leave the bike there and come help me.” Yuki said smiling as he opened the door to the elevator. “Forget about that. I need to check my feet, especially my toes. They kind of hurt.”

“Gomen.” Ren said sheepishly.

A few minutes later, they stepped inside Yukihiro’s apartment. Carefully, Ren helped Yuki sit down and take off his shoes. As Yuki examined his toes, he realized they were black and blue and swollen. He reached into his pocket and took out his cigarettes and lighted one. “Looks good, ne?” His sarcasm bigger than ever.

“Why are you so obsessed with your feet?” He asked lighting a cigarette of his own and dialing a number on his cell-phone.

“Well, I’m a drummer and I need my feet to play. I earn my living by playing the drums.” He said as he massaged his big toe.

“Oh! Sorry…Guess I’m really stupid.” He blushed uncomfortably. Looking at the floor as if counting tatamis, he sighed.

“Don’t worry about it. I’m just complaining a lot for having a bad day and an even weirder night. I’m taking it out on you. If I put ice on them they’ll get better.” He said grinning at Ren who looked really down. “Who’re you calling?”

“Ghostbusters!” He laughed.

Yukihiro laughed hard with him. “No really, who you calling?” He calmed down.

Still chuckling. “A friend. He lives nearby. Maybe he can tell me how to get to his house from here.” He said as he held a hand to Yukihiro signaling that the other end answered. “Hai, Gacku-chan? It’s Ren!” He said lively.

Yuki looked at Ren’s hand and noticed it was scratched. He frowned thinking how he might have gotten that. Then he remembered Ren flying over his bike after running him over. Ren walked around as he continued to talk. Yukihiro took the opportunity to go to his room and get his first aid kit. Even though his feet hurt, he decided he couldn’t let him go around hurt as well. ‘How stupid of me complaining and he hasn’t even flinched about his hands.’ He thought to himself as he went back to the living room.

“I’m having a little problem.” Ren said to the phone scratching his head. “I don’t know where I am. I mean, I know I’m close, but I don’t remember how to get there.” Ren said turning around to see Yukihiro with a first aid kit in his hands. He blushed as he realized the man was giggling at his words.

“I know where Gackt-san lives. I can take you there.” Yukihiro offered taking Ren’s hand in his and put on it an ointment for the scratches. Ren flushed.

“You know Gaku-chan? Ren stuttered.

“You mentioned him earlier. I asked if you knew him, you said yes. He lives two streets down from here. If you give me ten minutes I…”

“No! Ren cut him off. “Your feet! You have to keep off of them for a while.” He said as he moved toward him. Yukihiro took Ren’s hand in his again and showed it to him. “See? You’re hurt too. The least I can do is take care of you. You took care of me now I take care of you. Then I can drive you to his house.” Yukihiro said letting Ren’s hand go.

“Did you hear that Ga-chan? He offered to take me there. You still have my clothes there right?” He asked and listened nodded to the answer, but then squirmed. “What! I will not sleep in anything other than a bed!” He was outraged. He, under no condition, would accept that. “You know how I get when I don’t sleep on a bed. Would you like me to be like that on your birthday?” He threatened. Yukihiro just kept on listening and rubbing ice on his feet. “So, everyone has been invited. You know how your parents are. I don’t even know why you would invite them. And give them a room?” Ren shook his head as Yukihiro raised his eyebrows at his comment towards Gackt’s family. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. So, what am I going to do?” He listened again, but to someone else.

“Gackt lives really close by. You can stay here tonight and tomorrow you go to his house. I won’t mind having you here.” Yukihiro said trying to calm him down. He listened to his cell-phone again.

“Ok, ok. So, I’ll stay here and you come pick me up tomorrow… You won’t pick me up?” Again he was outraged. “You invited me remember? You know I get lost, the least you could do is come pick me up. Apparently you know where Yukihiro-san lives.”

Yukihiro sighed. “I can take you there.”

“You would do that?” He raised his other hand at Yukihiro signaling he was listening again. Yukihiro took that hand, cleaned it and put in it some ointment. Ren smiled at him in appreciation, his eyes warming at Yuki’s gesture. “He said that you could go to the party tomorrow. The least I could do is to threaten you that if you don’t go, I’ll kill you.” Ren said smiling. Yukihiro laughed heartily. “Ok. I’ll go. I never say no to a party.”

“Yukihiro-san will go with me. So be ready for one more… What? Heh.” Ren scratched his head and blushed madly at the comment Gackt had said on the phone. Yukihiro noticed, smiled and looked away. ‘Whatever did he say to him?’ Yukihiro thought
“Yeah, sure. Mata ne.” Ren mumbled and hung up. “I hope I’m not imposing on you.” Ren said sitting beside Yukihiro, lighting another cigarette.

“Not at all. I complained about my feet and made you take care of me when you had gotten hurt too.” He said looking at Ren’s hands. “I think this makes us even, ne?” He smiled.

“I guess so.” Ren shrugged.

“Would you like something to eat?” Yukihiro offered.

“I would like to take a bath if you don’t mind.”

“Please be my guest.” Yuki said and stood up. He went to the bathroom, took two towels. “I have clean underwear, meaning I’ve never used it. Also, I have clothes that might fit you.” He said as he gave him the towels.

“Ok. Thank you.” He said looking to the floor blushing again.

“Are you ok?” Yukihiro asked as he leaned on the door. He smiled broadly.

“Yeah. I’m ok.” Ren said without looking at him.

“Well, if you need anything, scream, ok?”

“Hm.” Ren just nodded. He went inside the bathroom.

Yukihiro went to his room and put on new sheets on the bed and turned the air conditioner on. ‘Well, you did want company tonight.’ He thought to himself with a wicked smile. ‘Ironic isn’t it?’ He went to his drawer and took some clothes. He took a towel hanging from the back of his bedroom door and sat down on a chair in the living room. Five minutes later Ren came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and another in his free hand.

“Here.” He handed Ren the underwear. “I don’t know how you sleep, so I took some pants and a shirt out. You decide weather you’ll wear them or not. Just sleep comfortably. I’ll go take a shower.” Yukihiro said as he took his towel and walked towards the bathroom.

“Where will I sleep?”

“Oh, sorry. Follow me.” Yukihiro lead him to his room. “It’s a king sized bed so you’ll sleep on one side, me on the other and we won’t even feel each other. I sleep on the left side.”

Ren looked at him in disbelief. “We will both sleep on the same bed?”

“You expected another room, right? Sorry.” He said looking at the floor and this time it was his turn to blush. “Yeah. I just have one room with a bed. My own king sized bed. I’ll go take that shower now. Please make yourself at home.” With that he went to the bathroom.

Ren changed into the underwear he was given, boxer shorts. ‘At least they aren’t briefs. And they fit just fine.’ He thought relieved that he didn’t have to worry about falling clothes. ‘I normally sleep naked so maybe just the boxers will do, ne?’ He asked himself. He folded his clothes and put them gently in a corner on the floor. He sat down on the bed and blushed remembering Gackt’s comment earlier on the phone. ‘Asshole.’ He lay down on the bed. Five minutes later Yukihiro came in wearing boxers. He hung the towel on the back of the door.

“You ready to sleep?” Yukihiro asked. Ren shook his head. “Well, I’m kind of hungry. I have some chocolate and strawberry pocky. Would you like some?”

“Ren nodded lively and stood up from the bed. “I love strawberry pocky.”

They walked towards the kitchen and each took their pocky. Yukihiro started to look around in his kitchen frantically.

“Did you lose something?” Ren asked showing his face inside the drawer.

“Oh, no. I’m just checking to see if I have some coca-cola left.” Yukihiro went to the cupboard and opened it. His eyes lit up as he saw a six-pack shining with an ethereal light around it. Ren chuckled. “Want some?” Yukihiro asked as he went over to take a glass and fill it with ice. “Sure, why not?” Yukihiro filled another glass and gave it to Ren with a can of coke.

“Arigatou.”

“Doitashimashita.”

“Itadakimasu.” They both said in unison. They sat down and ate their pocky’s and drank their cokes as Yukihiro told some jokes and Ren laughed at them. Finally they started to yawn.

“I’m kind of sleepy.” Ren said in a yawn.

“Me too. Come on. Let’s go to bed.” Yukihiro flushed listening to his own words. ‘Let’s go to bed.’ He kept on thinking until they go to the room. “Have a good night.”

“Hm. Arigatou. You too.” Ren went to his side and laid down, eyes wide open. Yukihiro accommodated himself and turned off the light on his nightstand. In fifteen minutes, Yukihiro dozed off while Ren still couldn’t close his eyes. His mind was wondering around Gackt’s words earlier. ‘Could it be true?’ He shook off the thought as he turned to his side. He saw Yukihiro sleeping like a baby. ‘Can’t be bad.’ He closed his eyes and went to sleep. Ren slept for four hours consecutively until he woke up freezing. He didn’t dare wake up Yukihiro. He got out of bed and looked for another bed sheet or a comforter.

“Looking for something?” Yukihiro asked with a gruff voice.

“Gomen nasai. I’m very cold. I was looking for something to cover myself with.” Ren shrugged prettily.

“You should’ve woken me up.” He said going to the air conditioner and turning it off. “I don’t have anything else. I have to do the laundry. I hand wash my things and I just came from a tour. So… sorry.”

“Ren shook his head. “No problem. Sorry I woke you.”

“It’s ok. Go back to bed. The room will get warmer in fifteen to twenty minutes.”

“Hm. Arigatou.” Ren went back to his side and sighed. Thoughts of Gackt again in his head. ‘Can’t be.’ He closed his eyes. His body was trembling because he was cold. Yukihiro, on the other side of the bed, felt him. Ren was giving him his back, so he crawled over to him and snug up behind him putting his arm around him. Ren kept still, but felt warmer so he didn’t push him away. “Arigatou, Yuki-san.”

“Go to sleep.” He mumbled in his sleep.

Ren’s eyes where wide open now with realization. ‘What he said was true.’ Gackt’s words running over and over inside his head. ‘So, you’re going to sleep with another man?’ Ren heard Gackt’s voice chuckling. ‘Don’t worry, it’s not that bad. Trust me, you’ll get used to it.’ Gackt had said laughing out loud having fun at Ren’s expense.
