*headdesk* I KNEW t.o.L
When the end credits of "Tamala 2010: A punkcat in space" were rolling I had a huuuge headdesk moment, because in the background they played this song:
And finally I understood where I knew t.o.L = "trees of life" from.
I heard this song already a longer while ago on the LEMONed CD, a CD issued by hide's LEMONed label:

and it was actually my favorite song of the six > *headdesk*.
On the LEMONed CD "one day for maria" is in another version, though.
Sung by a male vocalist and completely with English lyrics as far as I recall (must listen again).
It's very Beatles-y or Britpoppy, whatever you can call this style that never dies for me ;).
I have to say I prefer the Tamala 2010 version now, the female voice sounds much fresher for me than the male voice on the LEMONed version and I like the lyrics.
trees of life made the whole soundtrack for Tamala 2010 themselves by the way, I think I will give the whole OST a try very soon :).
