Two Things:
Firstly, the X-Men animated series we're watching is titled, simply X-Men. It's apparently a joint production of Marvel and Sony, which came out last year. The mate and I were given a two disk set as a gift.
Secondly, my spoiler free review of The Avengers: the Platonic Ideal of the superhero team movie and what happens when you get someone to write and direct your superhero movie who also loves and writes comic books. I can, at this point, only imagine what the X-Men film franchise would have looked like if had been given to Joss Whedon instead.
Also: damn you, Joss Whedon. You bastard. I'm never going to forgive you.
