Nopers, there is no correlation between being good at Rock Band and actually playing the instrument. Muh brother plays the guitar, but I'm better at Guitar Hero than he is. =oP

I think it's the same as any "keeping the beat" game, he can pick up on the pace better than most people, just like you can.
