I'm finally home from the cruise which was amazing. I didn't want to come home at all. I could have stayed out there at sea forever and been happy.
Yesterday we were supposed to fly from Tampa at 7:35 but the plane was delayed til 10:50 which made us miss our connecting flight from Atlanta to Des Moines. So they signed us up for a flight to Memphis then to Des Moines from Atlanta but the Memphis flight got delayed and we would miss our connecting flight again so we waited on standby for a flight at 3 that had it's departure gate changed 4 times just to find out that we weren't gonna make it on that flight because it was booked. So after waiting another hour in lines Delta Airlines put us up in a hotel for the night, gave us money for food, and gave us a flight back this morning at 10:09 or at least it was supposed to leave then. We didn't end up leaving til after 11 and we didn't have our luggage during all of this because the luggage had been sent to Des Moines on the first possible plane. So we were stuck in the airport for over 7 hours yesterday and then 3 today. It sucked. And security is real tight from all this terrorist crap that has been going on. Crazy way to end your amazing vaca.
My sister and I met some really nice guys on the cruise and they were really fun to hang out with and I miss them now. I wish they lived closer. Washington State and Ohio. Too far away. But we went to shows on the boat like Vegas shows and we ate amazing food everything and the desserts were awesome too. We had 24 hour ice cream and pizza which was both really good and I ate way to much. We had karakoe every night and it was hilarious when the crazy drunk guys got up there. I've never laughed so hard. The pool kinda sucked actually but that's ok. There was so much else to do. I went to the casino a couple times and they had some random dance classes like salsa, swashbuckling, austin powers, and swing. It was really fun. AGH! I miss it so much.
The Mayan ruins were pretty cool in Mexico. We swam with sting rays in the Cayman Islands and we held them and took pictures and stuff and we snorkeld there too and I touched a wild shark that was in the water there. Kinda scary kinda cool.
Too much to say about the trip and no time. Gotta go pack for college in like 5 days! Hooray!
