My apartment is chez groovy. We have a refrigerator that works and is the chic color of "harvest gold." I bought dishes to match. I have even unpacked almost everything, though I still have some stuff at my parent's house to take over. I'm just tired of having to still move stuff. I have way too much crap.
Paul has decided to move into my old bedroom and turn his old room into a "sitting room." He is currently repainting my room a dark bluish gray color that looks really cool. It does with my burnt orange carpet rather nicely, actually. I like it. I think he's stoked he's the last one still home.
I went to a Tegan and Sara concert last Thursday with Annie. It was fun; it was at the Glass House in Pomona. I stood in the same spot for 4 hours straight, my back and feet were killing me and I had to remind my knees they could bend when we got back to the car. It was a good time, though. Two opening bands, Los Abandoned and the Ditty Bops, prepped us for Tegan and Sara who are twin sisters. The Ditty Bops were hilarious, a kind of early 1920's folk band. Los Abandoned was your average indie punk with a bit of Spanish lyrics rolled into the mix. Tegan and Sara are just plain old rock 'n roll.
I am very bored living on my own. As 'Bella says, there are obvious signs that we are both there, but we hardly see eachother becuase of our schedules. Though, I am on Spring Break so I'm there more. I finally got my computer set up, but alas, still no internet. At least I can play games and stuff, though, and alay some of the boredom. I love to read, but can only do it for so many hours a day.
Mom and I went for massages again yesterday. Hot rock with a eucalyptus (sp) wrap. Can we say pure bliss? Ahhhh.
Last but not least, I am sort of seeing someone. It's nothing big yet, we've only gone out a couple times, but she seems cool. I guess we'll see how it goes.
Well, that is all for now. I am currently waiting for my laundry to finish so I can go back home before the traffic really sucks. Tomorrow I get Jacob for the day, yay!
