Look, I'm still alive!
So I've started dating someone. She's a friend of Paul and Vera's. Well, a friend of Vera's, really, but as they're one entity, she's a friend of both. I came home from school one day to have Vera ask me, "Do you still date?" I replied with an affirmative, though I don't date often. Dating requires me to actually go out and find people to date. That takes effort. I informed Vera, however, that if she wants to go out and find people for me to date, that's cool. Apparently she had. Anyhoo, I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. We went to Girlbar last night with a couple of her friends and had a blast. I got home and crawled into bed at about 4:30 this morning. I was seriously nodding off as I drove home, which was not good, but I didn't kill anyone and I wasn't drunk, just tired. Anyhoo, things seem to be going well on that front so yay for Mona.
As for school, I can not wait until break. I need this. I'm not giving my kids anything huge this week because they won't do it and I don't want to have to grade it. Break is alllll about me. And the girl I'm dating. I've gotten some gifts for my family, and because now I just have school I actually have time to get into the holiday spirit this year. Last year I was doing so much and then got sick that Christmas just sort of sprang and went. Then it was, "Hey, wha'happen?"
My new baby cousin is the cutest little booger. Well, next to Jacob, of course. They are both the cutest little boogers ever. It's amazing how much Ethan looks like Jacob. It's even more amazing how much hair he has. He had more hair when he was born than I have now. Craziness.
So, not much of an update. I'm going to see Blade Trilogy tonight, I think. Hope it's as good as it looks.
