Yesterday my husband and I took a trip with my parents to Ozark, MO & Mansfield, MO. It was a Wonderful Day! In Ozark we went to Lambert's Cafe; my hubby had never been there (and myself only once). The Food was great...I think the fun is the thrown rolls and the pass arounds. The Pass Arounds are the extra items served by waiters or waitresses while you are waiting/enjoying your meal. Example yesterday's were: Black Eyed Peas, Fried Potatoes with Onions, Macaroni & Tomatoes, Fried Okra and the Hot Rolls (plus Sorghum if you wanted). Website address:

We went to the Laura Ingalls Wilder's Rocky Ridge Farm and Rock House Historic Homes & Museum. Then we went to visit the cemetery to see where Laura, Almanzo, and their daughter Rose are buried. It was a very interesting trip. Little House on the Prairie was such a part of my life going up. I read the books as a kid and still watch the reruns of the TV series on the Hallmark Channel. My hubby said once we were home: "You know I wasn't for sure I was going to have a good time; but I love it!" The Farmhouse was his favorite and the Rock House was my dad's.
