As the above said, one-sided love really is painful. I really loved the type of language you used here and how the point of view works so well with this idea. a wonderful read, thank you for sharing!

Really? /blushes.

Originally it was a lame poem I wrote. lol. one-sided love happens more often in real life than a mutual one. Real life sort of sucks that way. Sigh.

Thanks for taking your time to read this.

No prob.
BTW, I noticed that you're majoring in creative writing and I'm sort of thinking to major in the same thing. How is it?

It's a good major. A lot of writing and reading is involved of course. But depending on your focus, it's really a fun major. I did recently drop my major to a minor though so i could get a BFA in illustration, but it's still worth going for. you might want a minor or a second major that could help you get a job, though, for on the side. :)

Oh, really? Sound like fun. I like writing and wanted to be a writer since I was like.. five.

As for the 2nd major/ minor thing, alot of people said the same thing to me. They're afraid I'll end up as a starving, depressed and jobless writer. Lol.

I'm thinking of taking journalism as well.

lol journalism is actually a good minor to have! it's more of a back-up plan thing, really. i actually hate when people tell me that i wont get jobs. there's nothing worse than being writ off as a bum before you even get started, you know? i'm sure you'll be awesome in whatever field you take up :D

Yeah, it's such a downer when people do that. Sad thing is my father said the same thing. Thanks for rooting for me. I feel so much better now. :)

my parents are still the same way, lol. but once your in school it doesn't matter what you do, because they don't really matter anymore when you're on your own. it's your life!

True. But it's hard to make them realise that you can't really afford to follow everything they say because it's your life and you have to make your own choices. Because maybe one day you'll regret not doing something you love.

I just got back from an open day at The University of Nottingham and fell in love with their courses but my dad just threw a fit of how much he didn't want me to go there. And he tunes me out when I said that I like it there. The lecturer liked me... So, yeah.

Sorry for dropping all of this on you. I just needed to vent. You can just ignore this if you feel too weirder out. Lol.

i agree, but they can't really keep you from something, there are ways around it :D and oh that's awesome! i say you should go there if you really like it! :D i mean, look at other places too, but don't write it off just because your parents disagree.

also i'm not weirded out! i'm just really slow at replying today orz

Sorry for the late reply. I got sick. >.>

Yeah, I'm thinking of surveying others too. Here's to hoping that I got accepted SOMEWHERE. (I had a dream the other day that I was rejected by every goddamn university/college ever known to mankind and have to spend the remainding days of my life as a taxi driver. Freaked me out big time) not that there's anything wrong with being a taxi driver but... Yeah. Lol
