But before I indulge in OzGil feels (MY OTP IS SO CANON <3 <3 <3), let's turn back the clock several minutes and enjoy the show of Vincent freaking out.
Vincent: Shut up, you're too precious for this sinful earth! I was supposed to shield you from the big bad world and send you back to Eden where you belong! Why did you have to remember and become independent again, now you'll hate me for sure why why why...?!

Gilbert: What's so terrible about being sold by our parents to a freak show, living on the streets, being physically, verbally and sexually abused as a child and being nearly beaten to death? I can live with these memories, since they're all a part of what I am. Besides, you were by my side, so it's not so bad.
If Gilbert's brotherly love doesn't redeem Vincent, nothing will. Of course, there's the small problem that Vincent's love isn't exactly platonic.... *sigh* Fine Vince, take your break under the rain and mourn the fact that Gilbert chose a plush rabbit over you. See if I care. You'll be rushing back to his side in two chapters flat. I want my sibling teamwork goddamnit!

Oh, so even Children of Misfortune qualify as Baskervilles when they are blood-related to Baskervilles. This explains why Lacie had a Chain, then. Glad MochiJun finally clarified that bit about Vincent not being dragged into the Abyss, too. (Stop smiling like that Gilbert, I'm trying to be impartial here! You're too distracting!)
Glen sure is dead-set on restoring the former order, isn't he? (Poor Rufus. XD Becoming Glen's punching bag must have been on his contract when he sided with the Baskervilles. Too bad he failed to read the small lines.)
I like the ambivalence of it, though. On the one hand, Glen is proud of Gilbert for bonding with Raven as a Baskerville should. On the other, he calls Gilbert a traitor. Make up your mind, sir. Or just admit that you are just upset because your cute little servant chose a plush rabbit over you. (This joke will never get old.)
An understandable reaction, but then, if you hadn't ordered him to shoot Oz and talked things through with him instead, Gilbert might have thought twice about leaving your side. Serves you right, control freak. XP
Hey, here is another ambivalence: Glen called Oz "Oz Vessalius" instead of B-Rabbit! Looks like it isn't that easy not to see Oz as a human. 8)
Except for Oz himself, of course:

I love how Oz is so desperate, and Gilbert doesn't even seem to understand where he's going with this. "Don't worry Oz, of course I wasn't going to let the Baskervilles kill either of us! oO"

Gilbert: Honestly, after all the crazy things we went through, learning that you were actually a Chain and a plush rabbit wasn't all that shocking. I am pretty sure I qualify as "fake" too anyway, being both a Nightray and a Baskerville. And considering that our story was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, we shouldn't rule out the possibility that everything was just a dream. So, it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, does it?
Just tell Oz that you love him already! That's what you do in this kind of situation, and what he wants to hear, JEEZ, get a clue!
...Don't mind me, I'm enjoying the show. *O* In this manga, I now have a favorite chapter, a favorite page, and my newfound favorite panel here. Neat.
Gil looks so deliriously happy it's ridiculous, but this dorkiness suits him juuust fine. <3 ...Wait, is he quoting Metroid? Where did that come from?! XD So random!
