Arrogance is such a dangerous thing. But what scares me more is jealousy.
It's frightening what those two things can do to people. They become monsters. MONSTERS!
My photographer just asked me for permission about posting some of the pictures he'll be taking on his portfolio. I can't decide if I want to say yes. I told him that he's welcome to post as many of objects as he wants, but when it comes to people, he needs to show them to me first. I'm glad he's asking me though (he legally has to I think?). Any time I've put pictures of people on anything other than facebook I've always first asked for permission, even with family and friends. It upsets me when people don't ask and just assume it's okay.
Oh, guess who isn't changing her last name after marriage!? Hehe, my parents aren't taking this news very well but it's okay. I'm going to be an Ansari forever... dun dun dunnn!
I need to learn how to be good with kids. I fail so bad right now. Case in point: all my interactions with Aziz ever since he was born. But I'm going to have an additional 1 niece and 4 nephews, with another boy on the way in March. God help these kids. Not only is their uncle super weird, their future aunt is socially retarded and even weirder.
One would think that between an engineer and a chemist, the chemist would be the more socially apt person. This is definitely not the case. At all. Being awkward kinda sucks a lot.
Side note: Yay for postcards! They are so incredibly underrated.
