I'd say it's more likely that the others assumed that you'd been hurt by a boy, or gotten wrapped up in something dangerous.

Possibly... And I was hurt by a boy, but it was just part of the game. And... that person is no longer a boy. It was part of whatever happened to us that changed our genders.

But with all of us as the opposite sex, nobody realized that such a change ever took place.

Precisely. Hence the reason there might have been stares. Though, Alfred had an interesting point. It was a Quidditch match. These things are bound to happen.

They are. I hardly see how a sport could be worth suffering injury, but to each his own.
