Day 17 - A song that you hear often on the radio
Take That - The Flood
Although no-one understood
we were holding back the flood
Judging by how often they play this song on the radio, Germany is still in Take-That-are-back-euphoria XD
On another note - Happy New Year everyone ♥
I finally remembered my surfstick's PIN so I have internet acces, yay me! ♥
I hope you all celebrated as nicely as I did ^^
The most surprising thing yesterday was the lady who talked to me after the service.
Like almost every year, my friends and I attended the ecumenical service on New Year's Eve in our cathedral. While one of my friends and terrormopf read a psalm, rickilein (a.k.a. the one who somehow slipped into this XD But she does very well ♥) and me read the intercessions. It was really nice an quiet (and we sung Von Guten Mächten - which is a heartwrenchingly beautiful song. Although this was the only video of the actual hymnbook version - and it has a crappy quality. All the other songs were awful pop versions X_x).
Anyway, after the service I was waiting at one of the exits holding the collection basket when a woman approached me. I know her from seeing. She all but beamed at me and then said: "You're seriously the one who reads the best. It was lovely... let me hug you!" - and then hugged the hell out of me.
I was a bit... overwhelmed, but it was really nice. And I don't only mean the praise but also her sincerity and honesty.
It was unexpected, but really nice :D
