currently,
san francisco finally got the weather right in the sunset district. it's either been gloomy, misty, and cold, or out of the ordinary, painstakingly burning. we city folk are getting confused on how to dress. but, today, today is my favorite kind of weather. i believe it's why autumn is so vivid, so strong. an absolute blue of a sky that makes people wonder why the color of "blues" is supposed to represent sadness and depressed thoughts. sunny as fuck, the warmth barely kissing our skin because there's that perfect breeze; not even considered windy. it shakes the dying leaves enough for us to recognize their strength in bright colors even in death before they return natural, green. just a breeze cool enough to still bundle up in cute, warm layers and a comfortable scarf. where cold and hot can meet nicely. my favorite kind of day.
i got my internship with FoodBuzz. hella joyous. hella happy. hella grateful.
thank you thank you thank you to whomever helped out in any way. it feels good to have something i'm really working for to start and pay off. it feels really really really good.
it's gotta be something big when i somehow blurt out shit like "i'm so blessed" to myself or "thank you God...or whoever may be out there?"

my sister moving up to management and supervisor so swiftly.
april getting into her program and finding stronger dedication and passion in life.
sunny for getting into medschool.
elyza for rockin' the shit outta those MIT heads and being chosen to present her research at a conference in new orleans next april.
and, my brother for sticking to his decision of quitting franklin templeton and getting his shit together to do a job he believes will make him happy. he finally landed and internship in SOMA and moved in with my sister and me last week. the de ala kids are back together again, haha...although it doesn't feel like it quite yet since we're all so busy and we're never home at the same time.
