i didnt want to be her. i didnt want to go off to college and in essence run away from everything thats been established in the last - what - 19 years of my life. i thought it was stupid.
its getting to the point where its looking like a good idea to cut some ties and start a new stage. ive never cut people out before for some sort of moral reasoning at thinking that everyone has something useful to give. call it the quakerly "light in everyone" (damn charter). in conclusion, tho, i think its really only hurt me to keep them close. maybe she had the right idea after all.
