I'm sure I'm the last person to find out that Photobucket changed its settings and now third-party hosting is no more unless you're willing to pay for your account, so I'm in the process of uploading the God knows how many pictures I've posted here over the years in another site and editing everything. There was a brief moment when I hesitated and asked myself whether it was worth the time it would demand to go back through aaaall the posts I've made since 2004, but then I realized... it's totally worth it. This LJ contains 13 years of memories, shared moments, laughter, tears, and lots (and I mean lots) of fangirling. I'm not willing to let that part of the past thirteen years of my life vanish in the air like that, so if it takes months, then I'm still going to do it. I'm stubborn like that. :P I might not have lots of spare time, but eventually I'll be done with it.
In the meantime, it's been great finding a birthday banner made by dyoselin for my 23th birthday (23th! *is shocked*), lots of Orlando Bloom pictures but, above all, lots, lots of pictures of Duran Duran and Timo Hildebrand. And I'm not complaining. :D All in all, this new "discovery" of my past in LJ is a time capsule of sorts, bringing me back to the way things were when I was younger, and it's been great. I won't say everything was easier then - at all! I won't change the place and the state of mind I'm in right now, but it's certainly nice to see how some things have changed... and others haven't. It's nice to be back! :)
