Ohh Naddy....how you write emotion, it cuts into me. The way you started the fic, with all that panic, and with Ianto being taken aside and told the worst...all captured perfectly of course. That section where the doctor came to talk to him, and my god Ianto falling into the chair at the realisation. I don't know why, but that struck a real chord with me. I can't explain it, but you just managed to cram so much into those paragraphs. It was incredible really.
And my god....Dylan. I think I could write my own little chapter about him. I mean come on, he is just so completely and incredibly awesome. (whoa...I need a bigger vocab). But really, its brilliant how intricate a character you have created here. I can see so much of Jack in him, and his little quirky personality, but I just love how easily likeable you have made him too. He's perfect, and I love how Ianto grows attached to him too. The fairytale was a highlight for me too, as it showered how capable Ianto is of being such a brilliant father.
Whoaa....subtle hints about Jack too.....I wants more of him. ;)
It was gorgeous really, and can only ever be described as being even better than the first chapter. Your Ianto is so honestly portrayed,and the scenario is so heart breakingly realistic that its a pleasure to read! Really Naddy, I feel rather proud reading this and seeing how far your writing has come. Why I'm proud I've no idea, since I haven't done anything...hmmm...must be just because I'm proud to be associated with you here!! :D
Right so I'm going before I use up my tiny vocabulary anymore. :P But hey, you're brilliant, and I have the urge to huggle you lots, and then do a bit of Dead Or Alive ftw dancing. Immense or what? :P
