There is a Japanese steakhouse with very good food in Downtown Orlando, and half-off for people celebrating their birthdays. It's also ridiculously slow. If you have plenty of time and don't mind waiting an hour to two hours for your food, check out Oyshee. If you want something that's slightly more timely, find the nearest Kobe. Kobe also has better atmosphere. But you can't beat the price, at least, if you're celebrating a birthday.
Saturday night the Bleach Mob celebrated the March birthdays, mine and Terry's. That was fun. Lauren got me an Italian cookbook, and Jason got me a Gamecube Game - Carmen Sandiego and the Stolen Drums, hee! Guess what I'll be playing as soon as I have time to just sit down and play. :D
Sunday was nice, despite the three-hour blackout. It was a little odd. There was a lovely storm in the afternoon, then a few hours, and then we had no power at all when the weather was completely still. Apparently a transformer blew randomly. About two hours after the power came back, we had another storm. Florida Power and Light, the only company that can keep power during mild tropical storms but lose it during perfectly peaceful weather as well as during hurricanes. Now that's talent.
At least candles are pretty, and I had an excuse to light a good ten or twelve. Or fifteen.
I did something for Singapore earlier today, and I'm not annoyed. This is a good thing. It was actually simple and fit into our guidelines. I don't know if this means they're learning, or it was a fluke, but I'll take it.
Talking with Ryua earlier made me wonder
Kariya's missions: (This is operating under the theory that you're playing Mr. H with Joshua as your partner, or vice-versa.)
Day One: Bring a bowl of ramen to Pork City. Any kind.
Day Two: Find something to calm down Uzuki.
Day Three: Bring two bowls of ramen to Pork City, one for each of us.
Day Four: Stop Joshua from giggling every other minute before Uzuki snaps.
Day Five: Take Minamimoto's megaphone away from him. We don't care how. But if ZETTA gets yelled into our ears one more time, you're erased. Please don't fail.
Day Six: Stop Minamimoto from crying. We suggest finding a rubber ducky.
Day Seven: Supply our UG party with ramen and prevent Konishi from backstabbing us for power.
Of course, during this time, you're dealing with Angels trying to take down the Fallen Angel, Konishi trying to take over the UG again, and Megumi becoming an Angel due to his love and imagination, and then trying to decide if he wants to help Hanekoma and Joshua, or fight them.
Megumi better be an Angel if there's a sequel. Please.
We don't even need the kids this time around. Let Shiki and Neku and Beat and Rhyme all get on with, well, life. Ram-crotch can even come back, as long as we deal mostly with Hanekoma and Joshua and please Megumi. Megumi is so much like Londo, poor guy. Sure, there's ego involved, and an enjoyment of power, but the love... I can't get over that. I disliked him so much until that scene, and then the Secret Reports made me like him even more.
Anyways. Wednesday! I get to hang out with Tisha! If the world winds up being taken over Wednesday, yes, it was us. Just so you're prepared. ;) Speaking of roleplaying, I'm starting to wonder if Carmen is intimidating people...
