Strange Weekend
My sister came in this weekend so I went home to hang out with her and my mom. Then my mom got all serious and it turns out that Donita is getting married next weekend, in Niagra falls, to her boyfriend Jeff. It kinda freaked me out that she was so excited. My mom could have been married many times over in the last 20 years, but I guess if the time is right then you go for it.
I am really happy for her actually, and now I have a new step sister who is much better than my current step sister, and that makes me happy.
It was kinda awesome because I am thinking that someday soon I am going to have to drop the same bomb on her and I was never quite sure how to approach that with my mother who hated marriage, but know I know that there wont be any negative marriage comments when I do it, which for some reason I was really dreading...
So mostly my weekend was insane. A lot of driving between here and KC and a lot of shoppingand now I am tired!
On a less serious note, a bag of almonds broke open in my nasty bookbag and they were unsalvagable, so I spread them around in my yard and the squirrels are going nuts. Its a bad pun but it is keeping me entertained.
