to give it more brown-ish look add new layer fill it with #95714d and set it to Soft Light.

lighten it by Curves:

2nd point: output: 92, input: 88

more blue-ish look by Color Balance:
Midtones 0, -4, -0
Shadows:-5, -2, +3

we will give it more contarst by using Levels:
RBG: 11, 0.88, 055

Selective Color:

now to give it more contarst: depend in your picture in here:

to give the icon more shadow with an Opitonal step:

Lighten, opacity: 24% by:????

Soft Light, I usually use it to darken the some parts of the icons like the hair or the dresses .. you make your own...

and the last part & my FAVORITE one but not nessery .. the Variation tool I usually play with it until I got something I like .. I here I used More Cyan and played with the Opacity.. and got this one...

I always leave the sharpen part to the end .. so go to your basic and duplicate it and sharpen it .. play with the opacity anf fill if it gets oversharpend ..
