The definition of RELIEVED!
This morning I took the car into the shop first thing and was extremely relieved to be informed that the problem was with my car's software. Apparently my car is like a PC and needs periodic software updates. One of the symptoms of outdated software is that the car will stay in 4th gear. Outdated software, in a car, WTF. Oh well, at least it was just the "diagnostic fee" and nothing worse!
