Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lip Glaze
I don't really care for the Colorstay lipsticks I've tried in the past. They never stay on like they are supposed to do, or if it do stay on it dries out your lips so badly and gets all gunky on your lips and then you can't get the gunk off. I saw this on sale at Kroger and I had a coupon so I figured what the hell, I'd give it a shot.
The Revlon website says "Just one application of this cushiony formula keeps lips coated with comfortable color for up to 8 hours, with no need for touch-ups." The important part of that sentence is "up to". First let me say this, Revlon doesn't claim that it WILL last 8 hours, just that it lasts UP TO 8 hours. I found that to be a misleading marketing ploy as mine only lasted about 3 hours before I should have re-applied it, but it us "up to 8 hours" so I'll move past that.
The feel is very soft and smooth. Even now 8 hours after my first and only application my lips feel smooth and still have a little tint to them and some superfine glitter on them still. That's after multiple beverages, a snack and lunch.
I think this product has found the middle ground that I wanted; color that doesn't come off as soon as I take a drink but still leaves my lips soft.
