I Learned to drive Manual :D
Today I went with James and Ben to Ben's Grandparents house. It was really fun, I love his grandmother, they have a pretty cool house with some very nice artwork in it. It's not quite my style but she has quite the antique collection and everything was lovely. I read in a tree outside while the boys went and did some road repair (after the rains the dirt road was really bumpy) and I hung out with Ben's grandmother for a little while. The boys were outside shooting a bibi gun (I only shot it a few times, it was my first time and it was lame) ben pointed it at the dog, which made me mad but whatever.
Oh and on the way there we stopped at a chinese food restaurant where the males are friends with the owner so we got free drinks, and the food was already cheep but pretty good. My fortune: "society prepares the crime, the criminal commits it."
Anyway, so at Ben's grandparents we all played scrabble. James was ahead of me by about 5 points the entire game, and they kept bugging me for taking forever to decide what word to use. Finally at the end they just told me to cheat with my last letter and I ended up beating James (with my flase score) by one point. Ben's grandmother kicked our asses anyway, she was ahead by at least 30 points... Ben was behind by about 30 hehe.
After spagetti and meatballs for dinner we had a razzleberry pie for dessert with ice cream and then we took the truck out so I could get a lesson from Ben's grandfather. He explains everything really well for how to drive a manual, and by watching him it made a lot more sense than it ever had before. I don't really know how I did, I didn't stall too much... except for at the bottom of steep hills. I think with more practice I'll be proficient. :P
