Milestones!
I've been watching quite a bit of my DVRed Beads, Baubles, and Jewels lately, because one of my kids thinks all grown-up dramas are scary (but watched Jurassic Park the other night with barely a fuss, go figure!), and I was feeling like I really would like to be creative more, but I've had a hard time being motivated, and there's been kid stuff, and my office/craft storage room is currently a pit (excuses, excuses). But I did have this cultured pearl memory wire bangle of my mom's that was all broken and needed rewiring and wouldn't take too much work or brain power to deal with. So I dealt with it!
I didn't realize until after I finished that there had been some kind of pattern, but there had been enough pearls lost and unusable becasue they had been glued onto the wire that I wouldn't have been able to actually complete the pattern anyway. So it looks a little quirky.
The big crafting news, though is that I finished all the crosses on the NECS!
First, a really bad cell phone picture that is the last one before all the crosses are finished...
And now, all the crosses are finished! Huzzah!
Now, on to the backstich! I'm hoping that goes pretty fast, because I really hate backstiching, and because I'm about a month behind where I wanted to be, and I'd like to get this finished by the end of May.
