Been thinking about writing here a lot lately. I need to get back to it. Morning pages only stuck for 2 months, but it was so helpful, really put me in a good place for the start of the day. Getting up early proved difficult, though. So maybe I can work this in there somehow, too. For days I just can't get up in time to write before "work." Facebook is inadequate and too incestuous. I've been chided for posting (harmless!) things about work--my perception of work. My in-laws read my Facebook posts. Gross! Fuck that! LJ was always better for real thoughtfulness and connection. So, here I am. Who else is still here?
It's great that there is no "like" button. That's such a cop-out. You don't have to commit, you don't have to say anything. It makes us all surface. Invisible almost. Don't know, but it's not good.
