Okay, yesterday was Västervik photos post. Today is Midsummer photos post! :D Most photos are mine, but some I've stolen from Maria's memory card. They are the smaller ones, often in sepia.
Going by car..
First we drove to Kilsmo, one of the places we visited during our "baddag" last summer ^^ We had planned to take a swim and then have our Midsummer dinner by the water, but when we got there it was way too cold and windy, so no swim. It started to rain too, so we had our lunch in the boot/trunk of Jessica's car XD There wasn't too much space and my back said "No! No!", but it was very cosy :P

The food! :9 Since I (we?) don't like pickled herring we had mackerel in tomtate sauce to the potatoes and sour cream instead. Teh yummy!

After eating we went to Brevens bruk to take part in the Midsummer celebrations there and watch them put up the maypole. It was raining..

We waited and waited and waited for the little parade to come.
There were lots of German buses there, and I think these ladies were German ^^
The parade.. finally!
And of course I didn't get any good photos.
They had an unusual maypole there and these girls are carrying a piece of it.
The maypole is up! :) So, after that we left when the seniors and families with children left, before Brevens bruk turned into the place where people drink the most during Midsummer around here XD;
Then we went to Jessica's summer house and photographed our KOM HEM KRISTINA! message and played frisbee. After that we recorded a little music video for Kristina in the potato storage XD
We're working on the lyrics :P
Our own version of Konfirmationspresenten, which we quickly made up. Probably makes no sense and/or isn't fun to any other people than us ^^; Ah well.
