Technical stuff has really gone my way lately. Well, our DVD-recorder couldn't be any better than this at least :) As I wrote before I planned to make it region-free. I had lost the papers with the code though, and when googling I found something really interesting. Our clock has sometimes jumped back or forward half an hour, the fan often makes annoying noises and every once in a while the recorder has even shut itself off during playback. We always thought there was something wrong with our DVD-recorder, or some interference caused by all the cables and connections, but apparently this was the case with every recorder of this model. And best of all, there was a software upgrade available at Philip's website. And it worked. So well :D I'm amazed at what a hassle-free upgrade it was. Then, when that was fixed, I tried to make it region-free. Didn't work :( Several times I entered those numbers, but nothing. I did it fast, like I was supposed to, but apparently not fast enough. I was ready to give up, but thought I'd try it one last time. And guess what? It worked :D :D :D So that Monday evening Robin and I could smilingly watch My neighbor Totoro ^_^ I'm so relieved. I've been waiting for this for ages.

Also, thank you Firefox for saving me! I don't know why I didn't get it sooner.

My site seems to be down though :( I don't know what it is. Maintenance perhaps. But it's been like this for two days or so now, and if it's not up tomorrow I think I'll contact my hosting company :/

The room is all green now and now all I have to do is to move my things back. I'll show you pictures later if you're interested :)

I'm so slow nowadays. I need some speed (not drugs) +_+
