If you are wondering why I've been so quiet around here lately, it's partly because I've had a loooong essay to write, and partly because I've become slightly addicted to the online game Ragnarok Online.
Writing the group essay and only communicating with half of the group online has been very hard. Distance group work is not fun! But now it's finished and the only thing left now is the opposition and a pass :) So.. more time for playing games! :D :D Well, not really. I still have a ton of things to do: study for an exam, finish off the last of my transcribing job, preparing myself for my summer job, cleaning etc. But I've been playing a bit at least.
I used to play
Ragnarok Online with my online friend Ellen in 2005, and I've been wanting to get back to it for years now (it's actually one of my 101/1001 goals). It used to be pay to play, but now there is a free server as well, so Danne and I have been playing together there. I might go premium later though, when I can afford it, because it's so much fun :]
You know what else is fun? Seeing Belle & Sebastian, which is what I will be doing in August! ^___^ I just couldn't resist it. Since I will be working most of the summer this will be my summer adventure :)
I went to a introductory meeting for my summer job last week. I really hope I'll manage it - it seems tough. And I hope my hands can take all that writing...
Today I went to see a doctor about my hands again, to get a second opinion, and it really seems like I'm a hopeless case. They can't think of any more things to test. All I can do is keep exercising and use pain relievers when necessary, they say. I won't give up though. I have to believe that it's possible for me to get better. What's the use in studying if I can't work after I'm done? This summer job will be a test for me, to see if my hands can handle it. If I can handle the pain. If not, I don't know what do to. Where do I go from there?
...
Well, whatever. No use in anticipating a failure. Here, have some spring pictures:
They've dug up the entire Järntorget, so this year's Walpurgis Night was a bit different. We had a lifeboat or something blocking the view XP
Ludde's girlfriend ;)
A muddy, forlorn monkey :(
Going to Stockholm tomorrow! Will meet Lania tomorrow, too. It will be fun! :D I just hope it won't be raining as much as it has been here in Örebro today - it's been pouring down all day!
