What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
ummmmm... Paranoid Android I think? I remember seeing that crazy video in '97 and then getting Big Shiny Tunes 2 for Christmas. I also have a wicked 90's rock compilation called 2 the Edge and Back that had Fake Plastic Trees on it, but I don't remember when I got it.

What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
enormous... the 10,000 days tour was one of the best shows I've ever seen and Lateralus is one of my favourite albums. I'm still angry I didn't see them on that tour.

I don't know if I have any favourites, but Midnight Mountain is the one I've been listening to the most lately... \m/DISCO DOOM METAL \m/

Soul One is an incredibly sad song. It doesn't really make me sad though.

When did you first get into 1?
Back when Lateralus came out in 2001 and Schism was on the radio all the time. I wasn't a huge fan though, it was hearing Sober soon after that really made me like them. They came though and I decided not to go because I wasn't really too into them at that point, but I ended up buying Lateralus soon after and I've regretted missing them ever since.
How did you get into 3?
I'd loved the song "No Rain" for years, but I never heard anything else by them. One day I randomly decided to get a "Classic Masters: Best Of Blind Melon" CD cause it was on sale for like 7 dollars. Every song on it is amazing, definately one of my favourite CD's.
What is your favorite song by 4?
the title track from Bitches' Brew is a 27 minute masterpiece of electrifying acid jazz funk
How many times have you seen 9 live?
Never, I don't think they come here. Someday I'm gonna go to Santa Cruz to see them though.
What is a good memory concerning 2?
Listening to Mezzanine in the dark with Magz

not really... their songs are instrumental mostly

Hard to pick just one... Rosetta Stoned is pretty badass though

I read a review of a bunch of YES reissues on Pitchfork, and picked up Close To The Edge based on that. Wicked album.
