SM Entertainment has taken Japan by storm with a large-scale concert.
According to SM, the entertainment agency’s singers, including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, CSJH and J Min, participated in the ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION’, which was held on the 26th and 27th at Tokyo Dome.
The concert was approximately four hours long with over 50 performances that wowed the 100,000 attendees.
A variety of stages were prepared, including hits from each singer. TVXQ’s Max Changmin and Super Junior’s Kyu Hyun sang ‘Ichigo (strawberry)’ while Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany teamed up with Henry to perform ‘Almost is Never Enough’. U-Know Yunho, Dong Hae, Eun Hyuk, Hyo Yeon, Taemin, Kai and Lay came together as SM’s dance unit SM The Performance to perform ‘Spectrum’.
The concert on the 27th was aired live at 137 cinemas across Japan in cities such as Hokkaido, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima for the fans who couldn’t get tickets.
Meanwhile, SMTOWN has held concerts all over the world, including Korea, USA, France, and China.
