FT Island's Choi Minhwan to perform in Tokyo as a musical lead
FT Island′s drummer Choi Min Hwan will be performing in Tokyo as the lead of the musical Gwanghwamun Love Song.
After he was cast as the youngest actor to play the Ji Yong role, Choi Min Hwan performed from November 23-25 at the Gwanghwamun Love Song performance held in Osaka, successfully debuting in the musical scene.
The next performances will be held from January 8-12 in Tokyo.
Choi Min Hwan said, "I′m working hard to make Ji Yong, my role, as much like me as possible. Member [Song] Seung Hyun, who has been in musicals before me, told me about its difficulties, but I′m finding it′s more fun than I worried it would be."
FT Island recently wrapped up its Take FT Island concert in Taiwan from December 15-16 with 10,000 fans and finished promoting its ninth single album Polar Star in Japan.
