'Nice Guy' #1 in ratings war for 9 episodes in a row
KBS 2TV drama ‘Nice Guy‘ kept the top spot despite the slip in its ratings.
The 11th episode of ‘Nice Guy’ which aired on October 17th recorded 14.3% in ratings according to AGB Nielsen Media Research. The figure reflects a 0.6% drop from the 14.9% on October 11th but it still kept its crown among Wed/Thu dramas.
On the episode, Kang Ma Roo (played by Song Joong Ki) rushed to rescue Seo Eun Gi (played by Moon Chae Won). Jae Shik (played by Yang Ik Joon) had kidnapped Seo Eun Gi with the ruse that Kang Ma Roo had sent for her but Kang Ma Roo used the phone tracker on Seo Eun Gi’s phone to locate them. Kang Ma Roo chased Jae Shik then blocked Jae Shik’s car with his own, to rescue Seo Eun Gi from Jae Shik.
The plans to take revenge against Han Jae Hee (played by Park Si Yeon) were also put into motion. Seo Eun Gi made a surprise appearance at the inauguration of Han Jae Hee. Seo Eun Gi expressed that she will come back to Taesan Group. Seo Eun Gi also shocked Han Jae Hee and others in the group, introducing Kang Ma Roo as the fiancé.
In the same time slot, MBC’s ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ ranked #2 with 12.4% ratings and SBS’s ‘The Great Seer’ ranked #3 with 10.6% ratings.
